Ankita Sehdev
Manager, Inclusive Education
Ankita Sehdev is the Manager of Inclusive Education for the Arunodaya (Sunrise) for the Blind program at Ek Kadam Aur Foundation. A woman with blindness and a lifelong participant in mainstream education and society, she brings both professional expertise and the power of lived experience to her work.
Ankita is a strong advocate for inclusion—not just in theory, but in everyday practice. Her current work focuses on promoting digital solutions that enable greater accessibility and independence for people with disabilities, especially children with blindness.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (Honours) from GGDSD College, affiliated with the Central University of Punjab, and a Bachelor’s in Education (Visual Impairment) from the University of Delhi. She also has a Diploma in Indian Classical Music from the Asian Academy of Film and Television, Film City, Noida.
With a deep belief in inclusive education and a unique blend of academic knowledge, advocacy, and personal insight, Ankita continues to drive change toward a more accessible and equitable society.
