Pallavi Kaushik

Pallavi Kaushik is an education specialist who strongly focuses on Inclusive Education, Women Empowerment, Social Work, and Gender Equality. She holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Delhi University and a master's degree in education from Jamia Millia Islamia University, where she graduated at the top of her class. Her academic work includes the research on India's National Education Policy (2020) from a special lens of Teacher Education. In addition to this, she is a certified associate in Project Management (CAPM) from Project Management Institute.

Pallavi’s passion for public service began in grade 9 when she witnessed a child selling toys on the street while studying. This encounter profoundly influenced her, steering her toward a career in education and a commitment to teaching underprivileged children. Her dedication extends beyond the classroom—she also holds a C Certificate from the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and has served as the Senior Under Officer (SUO) for a year. She also got recommended for the post of Lieutenant in the Indian Army but decided to follow her passion into education.

At Ek Kadam Aur, Pallavi manages the Arunodaya and Active Learning Programs. She is guided by Nelson Mandela’s belief that "education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world."
