Pallavi Kaushik

Pallavi has expertise in education and her professional and academic interests lie in Inclusive Education, Women Empowerment, Social work and Gender Equality. She has done research on Nation Education Policy, 2020. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from Delhi University and Jamia Millia Islamia University respectively. Pallavi has been interested in public service since she was in grade 9 when she came across a child who was on the street, selling toys and studying simultaneously. This event created a long-lasting impact on her mind and resulted in her decision to pursue education field after high school. Pallavi has been teaching the unprivileged since then. She earned C Certificate at National Cadet Corps and earned the rank of……. Pallavi secured first rank in her master’s class at Jamia Millia University. She believes in Nelson Mandela’s quote that education is the weapon that can be used to change the world.

At Ek Kadam Aur, Pallavi is coordinating the Active Learning Program and coordinating development of training materials for the trainers under Project Arunodaya for Blind.

Fun Fact: If she could eat one food for the whole life, that would be different varieties of mushrooms cooked in any and all forms.
